Example Magazine

This is the type of magazine i will want mine to look like. It will show a variety of different artists. I used Q as an example of a good magazine because it has a good layout and heading that stand out to the audience. It also includes a variety of different genres of music which means it reaches out to a bigger target audience. Which is what i want my magazine to include so it doesn't just reach out to an audience who only like on specific genre of music.
The font and colours run throughout the whole magazine. This is showing that the magazine has included typical conventions into it. Also the contents page has a good, simple layout and has used the majority of the space to show an image of a band they will probably be doing a double page spread on in the magazine.
The double page spread stands out because one side is taken up by an image of the artist which will entice the audience to read the article if they like and recognise the artist.
