When making the reader profile for my magazine I incorporated both Kerrang's and NME's reader profiles into mine. The information on my reader profile includes the readers interests, what festivals they go to and brands they like. The images on my reader profile give the audience reading my magazine an impression of the things and places my usual audience like and also give people an idea of the genre of music my magazine focuses on. I used Microsoft Publisher to make my reader profile. The colour scheme and fonts match the rest of my magazine but also have differences so all the pages are not exactly the same. Also the images used on it are all from google. These images include Ray Bans, Rolling Stones T-Shirt, Converse, Leeds Festival and Beasleys etc. These images will be classed as advertisements and will all make money for my magazine.

Double Page Spread: Draft Two
Front Cover: Draft Two
This is the second draft of my contents page. I much prefer the layout of this one and I like the masthead more, I think it fits in better with the genre of the magazine. Improvements will be to make the text on the skyline not as squashed and to move some of the sell lines around slightly.

Making Of My Double Page Spread
Firstly to start my double page spread i did a brick wall background because i thought it would go well with the genre of my music magazine. I then added my main image of the artist/band that the article is about.
After that i then changed her hair colour making sure it matched the others photos of her that are on the front cover and contents page of my magazine.
Adding other images of the artist was the next step, which promotes more of artist and makes the double page look more professional.
I then used a pull quote from the article to use as the title, this gets the audience engaged and persuades them to read more of the information included in the coloumns.
I next added the spaces where the article would be shown. These dark boxes highlight the the article and attracts the eye of the reader. The last thing to do was add the article and then the double page spread was finished.
