The Wide Range Of Shot Types

Very Wide Shot-
focuses alot of the attention on the environment
around the subject.
Mid Shot-
 Shows some of the subject but
not the whole thing.
Close up-
A part of the subject that takes up the whole of the
frame.
Extreme Wide Shot-
This could also be called an establishing shot,
it is an image that is taken far away from it's subject.

Medium Close up-
It is half way between a mid shot and a close up.
Wide Shot- Smaller than an extreme wide shot and a very wide
shot but it is still focusing on the environment around it's subject.




Cut In-Shows a part of the subject in detail.
Extreme Cloe Up-
Shows extreme detail of a certain part of the
subject.
Two shot- A shot of two people, usually a mid
shot.
Over the shoulder- Looking from behind a person
at the subject.

Cutaway- A shot of something other than the
subject.

Noddy Shot- Usually used in interviews.



Point of view shot- Shows a view from the
subjects perspective.
